Subaru will debut one good-looking BRZ at the Tokyo Auto Show to be held between the 13th and 15th January 2017, dubbed as the Subaru BRZ STI Sport Concept.

The Subaru BRZ STI Sport Concept is based on the BRZ GT, the Japanese version of the American model with the Performance Package, but adds a number of its own details including a new front spoiler, new side skirts and front slightly raised. Smaller changes include STI badges in the lower and side grilles.

The Subaru BRZ STI Sport Concept will also add 18 inches to its multi-spoke black rims, different aerodynamic components and dark red interior elements signed by STI. At the moment, the details on the mechanics are limited. It is still unknown if its 2.0-liter four-cylinder box engine will receive any specific improvement or will continue with its philosophy of natural aspiration.

Horsepower and maximum speed of the Subaru BRZ STI Sport Concept is also still not revealed as well as where it will actually be produced. It is expected that Subaru will release more news about this cult model in the coming weeks as AutoBlog said.

Accompanying the Subaru BRZ STI Sport Concept at the Tokyo Auto Salon, which is considered the Asian SEMA, are the Subaru WRX STI Concept S4 with different design and performance improvements as well as the debut of different customized versions of Levorg STI Impreza Sport and G4 including different photos of rigor. These are all expected to be launched in the coming weeks.

Expect to see Subaru’s entire show car lineup in the opening day as the brand loves to start with a bang. Subaru also says it will make an announcement about its motorsports program at the event according to MotorTrend and that's one thing to be excited about.
