The rumored upcoming Nokia Z2 Plus is said to be out in the market by 2017. It seems that the Finland-based company is making a comeback in the mobile phone industry. Following the Nokia P leak that just happened, the unofficial info for the Nokia Z2 Plus targets a new level in smartphones bearing core specifications that's just too good to be true.

Android Headline said that GeekBench.com had exposed some of the expected Nokia releases like the Nokia C1, Nokia D1C, and the Nokia P. None of these seemed to talked about the Nokia Z2 Plus until now.

According to the post, the smartphone is seemingly powered by the Snapdragon 820 64-bit quad-core processor, secondary only to the Snapdragon 821: Qualcomm's most powerful processor yet. The Nokia smartphone also will have 4GB of RAM and will run on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) as default OS.

The phone (speculatively the Nokia Z2 Plus) has managed to gather 2,156 points with the single-core alone, totaling up to 5,217 points when counting all cores. The System-on-a-Chip is also clocked at 1.77 GHz. After GeekBench has posted the information, interest for the Nokia Z2 Plus has gradually increased.

Don't Get Your Hopes Up, It May Not Be The Nokia Z2 Plus

Nokia Power User reported that the news from GeekBench is clickbait published by websites getting no legitimate information from Nokia. According to the post, it is nothing but the ZUK Z2 Plus and someone just named it the "Nokia Z2 Plus" to capture everyone's attention.

The blog post also said that a group of spammers posted old prototype Nokia phone images in place of the 'upcoming' Nokia Z2 Plus. However, Nokia Power User backed up the rumors for Nokia C1 and Nokia D1C, calling the two phones the real deal. These were also part of their earlier reports about a couple of high end Nokia phones in the works as part of a Nokia Android phone lineup.
