Although Lamborghini is not likely to come out with the Estoque sedan in the future, the Italian brand still has a few aces up its sleeves for expanding the range.
Rumors are rife about the luxury sports car manufacturer gearing up to launch a brand new entry-level model, which would be placed in the range below the most economical car in the offer: the Huracan LP 580-2. Lamborghini has already divulged that the SUV will bear a price tag similar to the Huracan, which might pave way for something low-cost, according to a report from autoevolution.
Lamborghini Adds Spyder To The Huracan Lineup
Last month, the globally acclaimed automaker's official Twitter account posted a video of the new Huracan RWD Spyder --- dubbing the beautiful machine as a perfect blend of style and performance. Lamborghini Huracan RWD Spyder sports a new exterior design coupled with the robust Lamborghini 5.2L V10 engine, which is able to unleash its power (580 hp) on the rear axle, Wheels reported.

As expected, news about an impending budget Lamborghini stirred conversations among car buffs, who got their hopes up right away. However, much to their dismay, it is highly unlikely that the automaker with the bulls will actually come out with a cheap model. There's hearsay that it will make a model that will be labelled as "affordable" in comparison to the rest of the lineup.
The rumor mill has been swirling speculations around a purported model that is expected to bear a cheaper price than the already affordable Huracan. However, that would still allude to a Lamborghini with a starting price of around 150,000 euros, which converts to about $160,000.
Citing the recent money-saving approach enforced by the Volkswagen Group, the "affordable Lambo" would be left with no choice, but to share its platform with something else from the company. Since Audi already shares some of the components of its R8 with the Sant'Agata Bolognese brand, Porsche might also be slated to dole out a technical platform. With rumors surrounding a mid-engined Porsche model called 960 doing rounds, Lamborghini might be next in line to receive that platform as well.
