Bernadette Of Big Bang Theory: Pregnant In Real Life?

Is Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) pregnant in real life? Fans have been asking the same question ever since the comedy series have taken Bernadette's pregnancy to a whole new level. This has made several fans wonder --- is Rauch indeed expecting a baby?

In the fifth episode entitled, "The Hot Tub Contamination" of "Big Bang Theory" Season 10, married couple Bernadette and Howard (Simon Helberg) planned to go on a short holiday before she gives birth. Unfortunately, she didn't feel fit to travel and was worried over missing some important work.

Aside from the baby bump looking realistic, she has been carrying it for months. Fans have also been thinking that Big Bang's TV staff might have altered their episodes' storylines to accommodate the actress' situation.

Moreover, she was spotted with a noticeable lump on her stomach when she was having a date on Tuesday evening (November 29, 2016) with her long-time partner. She also had a toast twice --- with only drinking water instead of wine. It was very uncommon to toast with anything, but a full glass of wine, according to Media Mass. Thus, the realistic baby bump and high-profile-wine-avoidance have made fans even more suspicious and made the rumors stronger.

Is Bernadette of Big Bang pregnant in real life? No, she isn't. She reportedly disproved these rumors and she was seen in person without any baby bump. She said the fake baby bump was really made to fit her build, though it was quite hard for her to wear, Morning Ledger reported.

According to Steve Molaro, the executive producer of Big Bang, they were trying to portray a real-life pregnancy by letting Rauch's character have the full duration of her pregnancy and be chronologically correct in the TV series. Now, fans can put to rest these speculations and just enjoy how this baby will make "Big Bang Theory" even more interesting and exciting.
