Much to the delight of zealous MacBook fans, Apple has finally introduced the brand new MacBook Pro they have been clamoring for.
Aside from an array of awe-inspiring features, the new Apple MacBook Pro sports an interesting interface element dubbed as the Touch Bar. Up for grabs in space gray, it is thinner and much lighter compared to its Pro precursors. Moreover, it features comparatively smaller bezels and hardly has any ports.
Apple MacBook Pro India Debut, Price & Other Details
Following the MacBook Pro's highly anticipated official announcement on Oct. 27, an Apple reseller in India has noted that the first stock of the MacBook Pro has finally begun to hit the stores.
Apparently, a Kerala, India-based Apple Reseller known as IT Net Infocomm took to Twitter to announce the arrival of new MacBook Pro models with the much-lauded Touch Bar for a price of INR 1,55,900 (about $2272) for the 256GB variant, Gadgets360 reported.
The 512GB version, on the other hand, costs INR 1,72,900 (about $2520).
The 13-inch variant (without the Touch Bar) comes bearing a price tag of INR 1,29,900 (about $1893) with 256GB of storage capacity. The MacBook Pro's 15-inch display version is priced at 2,05,900 (about $3000) for the 256GB storage version and INR 2,41,900 (about $3525) for the 512GB option, according to a report from The Indian Express.
One of the most talked about features of the Apple MacBook Pro is its bright and most vibrant Retina display yet, equipped with 500 nits of brightness; which, according to the Cupertino-based tech giant, is 67 percent brighter than its previous model and weighs 1.37 kg. Meanwhile, the 15-inch MacBook Pro weighs in at 1.83 kg and is 14 percent thinner.
Apple MacBook Pro 13-Inch Variant
The MacBook Pro's 13-inch model with the Touch Bar boasts a Retina display (2560 x 1600 pixels) and packs a 2.0 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor.
The notebook also comes with a robust battery, which is said to be 10 hours while on wireless web. Moreover, it will run Apple's latest Mac OS: Sierra.
