With the Galaxy Note 7 debacle left in the cold, Samsung and its consumers are now looking forward to an imminent Galaxy S8 launch.

As Samsung looks to repair its run down reputation, the South Korean handset maker is leaving no stone unturned to ensure its 2017′s flagship touts an array of crowd-pleasing features. With Samsung Galaxy S8's release date just around the corner, rumors are rife about what the much-lauded smartphone will entail.

Aside from teasing voice assistant additions, recently surfaced leaks for the Galaxy S8 hint at its memory configuration.

The rumor mill has been churning bevies of speculations around Samsung Galaxy S8's release date, specs, and other features for a long-time now, indicating that Samsung's next flagship will boast an artificial intelligence-based voice assistant --- featuring both male and female voices dubbed as Bixby and Kestra respectively, Galaxy Club (via Gadget 360) reported.

Based on a description in an EU patent application, Bixby and Kestra are detailed as computer software that facilitate hands-free usage of a smartphone through voice recognition and capable of processing voice commands. There's also hearsay that the said smart assistants are likely to debut soon, with the Galaxy S8's release date rumored for as early as Feb. 2017.

In terms of specs, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will get an upgrade from the 4GB RAM its precursor, the Galaxy S7, packed. According to a report from Forbes, the Galaxy S8 will come with 6GB of RAM, rather than a rumored 8GB of RAM. This is quite a practical move; it will not only equip the device with enough memory to run all tasks, but also put a minimum drain on the battery, nor will it generate a lot of heat in a confined space.

Multiple reports suggest that a 256GB storage variant for the Samsung Galaxy S7 will also be up for grabs.

There's no word yet on whether this will be the only available option or Samsung will roll out other storage variants in the market.
