Marvel whet the appetite of "Guardians of the Galaxy" fans last month when it released the first teaser trailer of the much-awaited sequel to Marvel's first installment, which saw the little-known comic book characters skyrocket to the spotlight in one of 2014's biggest blockbusters. Now, the teaser has been redone in LEGO form, brought to fans by Huxley Berg Studios.

The LEGO formatted teaser trailer, posted on Nerdist, was shared on Facebook by Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn. He captioned the post with a claim that until something is re-done in LEGO form, "nothing truly matters."

Huxley Berg Studios has done similar LEGO remakes of superhero movies on his Youtube channel, many of which have earned similar praise for bearing impressively close resemblance to the actual trailers. According to Entertainment Weekly, LEGO fans would be well-served to also check out LEGO reimaginings of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," "Captain America: Civil War" and Netflix-original "Stranger Things."

The live-action form of the teaser displayed prominent "Guardians" characters like Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Rocket (Bradley Cooper), Drax (Dave Bautista), baby Groot (voiced ably by Vin Diesel) and Yondu (Michael Rooker). Notable, too, were new characters who garnered no screentime on the teaser, like Ayesha (Elizabeth Debicki), Mantis (Pom Klementieff), Ego the Living Planet (Kurt Russell) and Taserface (Chris Sullivan).

The LEGO version of the Guardians of the Galaxy teaser reignited rumors that eruped in January of this year that the much-loved film was going to get its own LEGO version video game. The rumors have stayed just that, except for a hint on the end credits of LEGO Marvel's Avengers that it may still be in the works, according to Digital Spy.

The Guardians of the Galaxy sequel is slated for a spring release in the US, May 5, 2017. It will come out about a week earlier in the UK, on April 28, 2017.
