Apple Pencil Pod: Safeguarding Your Tech In A Leather Sheath

The Apple Pencil is out in stores now and is making a lot of professionals happy. However, with some minor issues, a simple solution has come to the surface: the Apple Pencil Pod.

This Is Ground is a small company from Los Angeles dedicated to making real life solutions to tiny, but actual problems. They mainly use leather when conducting these solutions. One of their latest products is a pod, or as they described it --- a sheath, for the Apple Pencil.

The Apple Pencil Pod has been garnering mostly positive reviews. Photographers, illustrators, graphic artists, and visual effects professionals are only some of its target clientele. From veterans in the field to students who are just getting started, the Pencil has become a useful tool when partnered with the iPad Pro and choice apps.

While all this sounds remarkable, a few noticeable kinks come to play. One of these problems is the Pencil's shape, which allows it to easily roll off any surface and drop on the floor. Considering these are $99 per unit, it is not wise to keep them rolling off of anything. Another issue, which seems to be quite common with Apple products, is that it is so easy to lose.

To prove the benefits of using the Apple Pencil Pod, the makers interviewed industry professionals who have used, tested, and reviewed the product. Four participants gave positive reviews and exclaimed how the pod made their work much easier.

This leather pod has become the ideal solution for both problems. Not only does it stop Pencils from dropping off the table, but also rests comfortably in one's hand. The experience is not forced and the grip is easy. Having it makes storage less of a burden, especially for those who carry their iPad Pro and Apple Pencil with them wherever they go.
