Ford Mustang V8 GT German Police Car Sports 20-Inch Wheel, Height-Adjustable Coilovers & A Lot More [VIDEO]

Built to promote the Polizei's "Tune It! Safe!" Campaign, the Ford Mustang V8 GT is German Polizei's new toy. This tuned automobile has been assembled by Local Ford tuning specialist Wolf Racing.

Bearing the moniker, "Wolf Wide 5.0", it sports exclusively designed, 20-inch wheels wrapped up in Hankook tires. Moreover, it boasts a coilover suspension with a height-adjustment feature. It has a full body kit encompassing rear diffuser, both front and rear aprons, a huge rear wing, and a sports exhaust.

The Ford Mustang V8 GT is scheduled to tour car shows among other events for the next 12 months in order to raise awareness for the crusade, Motor 1 reported.

Inspired by a sixth-generation Ford Mustang GT, the Wolf Wild 5.0 is VDAT's (Verband der Automobil Tuner) most recent work of genius.

VDAT is Germany's indigenous analog to the Specialty Equipment Market Association.

Comprising of mega corps in the tuning industry, VDAT is supported by German Federal Minister of Transport and was found more than a decade ago. VDAT comes out with a new custom police cruiser every year to endorse safe vehicle modification.

Some of its previous examples include C7 Corvette, Brabus Mercedes, and an AC Schnitzer BMW 4-Series. The Ford Mustang V8 GT is VDAT's latest creation, according to The Drive.

The bumped up (from 421 HP to 455 HP) cop car draws power from its 5.0L V8 motor. It is also sufficient to drop the 0-100 km (0-62 miles) per hour time to just 4.3 seconds with a top speed of 238 km per hour.

The Ford Mustang V8 GT flaunts the full Polizei look in style as well, complete with sirens by Hella and blue lights. But that's not all; the side windows are wrapped in Securlux safety foil, preventing them from cracking.

Much to the relief of speeders, the Ford Mustang V8 GT is not likely to pull them over; the muscle car will be used to promote the aforementioned Tune It! Safe! initiative.
