'Google Android 7.1' Developer Preview Final Update Has Been Released

Gadget and tech fans are going to be excited with the latest update from "Google Android 7.1" Nougat OS since it has started rolling out the second and final developer preview for Nexus Devices. The wait is over because new information is now finally released to the public.

Good news for those waiting for this progress update especially those who already owned Nexus devices like LG Nexus 5X, Huawei Nexus 6P, HTC Nexus 9 and Google Pixel C tablet. They can already try out the beta version by enrolling themselves in the Android Beta Program with their upcoming OS version. Google will send an OTA or over- the- air update to their device automatically over the coming week. This rolling out of "Google Android 7.1" Developer preview that they made would be the last before they finally release Android 7.1.1 platform.

Android 7.1.1 has features that are already in Pixel and Pixel XL devices with added optimization and bug fixes aside from it having the "Google Android 7.1" platform. For smartphones that have not been mentioned in this article, their owners won't need to worry because, by early December, it is not just going to be Pixel and Pixel XL devices that will have Android 7.1.1 but will have a full lineup of supported devices as well. The Android VP of Engineering, Dave Burke wrote in a blog post

The developers of "Google Android 7.1" are near- final system user interface and its operating system have been announced previously by Google.  Even better news to Pixel handset holders because some android features built into it will stay exclusive to them only. Nothing to worry for non-Pixel smartphone owners, though, because features like a night light, touch-display performance improvements, better system updates, daydream VR mode and a manual storage manager that identify apps, files and apps needing storage are included in their list, Gadgets Now reported.
