Apple is soon to rejoin the vehicle production industry with its latest project to be named the Apple iCar, which is slated to be released in 2019 or 2020.

Whether Apple is developing an iCar to rival Tesla electric sedans and SUVs is still a source of lively discussions since there is still no admission on the part of Apple despite allegations that parts of the iCar will be developed in Berlin. In fact, it is rumored that the undertaking is codenamed Project Titan, according to Trusted Reviews.

According to German media, "a think-tank of 15 to 20 so-called progressive people" is now working on the project. Apple has been in touch with companies that specialize in manufacturing car charging stations.

Additionally, Apple has hired engineers of Blackberry to work on an OS project for a self-driving car, strengthening many people's belief that an Apple iCar is really in the making, according to Mac World.

During the Apple Q4 2016 financial results, Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, was asked regarding the Apple Car. He said, "always looks for ways that we can improve the experience and the customers' experience on different sets of products".

He further added, "And we are always looking at new things, and the car space, in general, is an area that it's clear that there is a lot of technologies that will either become available or will be able to revolutionize the car experience."

Nothing specific was announced but those who heard Apple's CEO talk may be able to solve the riddle and guess what is being implied.

Since Apple's involvement in the vehicle, industry has slackened in the past years, it is believed that it will change with the highly-rumored iCar development and its release in 2019 to 2020. With Apple's huge market capitalization, people can expect to ride on Apple iCars in the near future.
