Longtime "Fallout 4" fans are waking up to exciting news as game producer Bethesda said in a tweet that the latest update, Fallout 4 1.8, will hit consoles later this week. The new update will contain bug fixes and other game improvements, but most important of all: PlayStation 4 Mod Support, which enables gamers to modify and produce their own content.
According to Express, the 1GB modding limit still holds, with Pete Hines of Bethesda hinting the company couldn't get approval for increased capacity. As previously mentioned by Bethesda, Fallout 4 PS4 mods will not allow access to external assets but gamers will still enjoy assets that come together with the title.
A Fallout 4 Creation Kit update, including PS4 mod support, was launched by Bethesda last week. Notable mods included in the kit are The Kelly Household, Separate Coats and Simple Camping, reported iTech Post. Gamers with an account on Bethesda's website can browse the Fallout 4 mods here.
