The main function of the device would most likely be to display to its wearer visual images, as well as to provide its wearer with other valuable information.There are several signs and leads that further cement the rumors that Apple Is Working On Augmented Reality Glasses indeed.

The rumors actually started at around January, when rumors started circulating around that prototypes for a full VR headset are supposedly being developed by Apple, according to IGN.

Although it's entirely possible that it could also be a separate project. It is also being said that Apple had supposedly ordered a few volumes of near-eye displays from some possible suppliers.
