Apple's much lauded 2016 MacBook Pro featuring the Touch Bar OLED input display that ousted the traditional function keys has been quite an emphatic sales success until now. Still, in its first weeks of availability, the gadget has reportedly outsold several notebooks. Supply is now starting to match the increasing demand.

On Tuesday, Nov. 15, some early buyers took to social media platforms including Twitter and Instagram to post photos of in-store MacBook Pro models. Pictures posted to Instagram gives a sneak peek of MacBook Pro with Touch Bar models placed on display tables at Apple's Hong Kong flagship.

Meanwhile, the Apple store at Nanjing Road, Shanghai does not have adequate supply as well. Nevertheless, display floor units running demo software are showcased behind glass enclosures, Apple Insider reported.

As expected, Apple has kept the exact shipment timeline under wraps, not even disclosing it to store staff.

Moreover, recently surfaced reports claim that several locations have still not received their first unit. In fact, some reports even claim that the Apple's flagship Union Square store in San Francisco is still waiting for its first unit.

That being said, this is not a pervasive situation as many people have been informed that the gadgets will be up for grabs soon. Other reports; however, claim that a number of people have been advised not to expect the machines to arrive before Thanksgiving, according to DigitalTrends.

Apple Stores that currently don't have stock of the much-lauded machines; can still give consumers hands on a demo model. Apple Stores should reportedly have these demo models for buyers to take a look at this week.

Those interested in getting their hands on the new 2016 MacBook Pro are advised to either visit their local Apple Store or give one a call to check if they have any units available. Those buying the machine online should bear in mind that Apple is not offering the in-store pickup option.
