Michael Schumacher health news and updates are finally showing good signs as former director of Ferrari and Schumacher's close friend, Ross Brawn told the press that the seven-time world champion F1 legend is showing encouraging signs. Meanwhile, F1 racer Lewis Hamilton recently revealed one of Schumacher's secret in The Ellen Degeneres show.
In December 2013, Schumacher hit his head on a rock while skiing in the French Alps, suffering serious injury. After several months in an induced coma, Schumacher was able to leave the hospital to settle at his home in Switzerland. Since the accident, little information about the actual situation of the German legendary racer is disclosed. But his close friend and colleague Brawn recently gave good news to fans, according to Crash.
Brawn worked with Schumacher for years and was technical director at Benetton and Ferrari at the time that the former pilot defended the teams. In an interview with BBC Sport, the British declared that there was an improvement in the framework of the seven times world champion.
"There are encouraging signs, and we should pray every day that we may see more of them. I must respect the family's privacy and not talk a lot. All I will say is that there is much speculation about Michael's situation, and most are wrong. We just prayed and we hope every day so that we continue to see some progress," Brawn said.
It is worth noting that recently a new site was sued by Schumacher’s lawyer as it falsely reported that the racer had started walking.
Meanwhile, three-time world champion and Mercedes F1 racer Lewis Hamilton shared some anecdotes and Schumacher's secret in his recent guesting at "The Ellen Degeneres Show," according to Australia Network News.
Hamilton was in the US last week as he raced at the Austin track and dropped by at Ellen to discussed some F1 topics such as how grueling Formula One races can become. Hamilton told Degeneres that it is truly hard and races can last about two hours.
Degeneres then asked how the drivers manage these long two hours and what they do if they need to pee. Lewis replied that most drivers pee in their suit but he is not comfortable doing that so he just hold it as much as he can and hopefully that's after the race. That was when he revealed Schumacher's secret.
“The driver that used to drive for the team, was Michael Schumacher, I don’t know if anyone’s heard of him, but he is a legendary racing driver, and my mechanics told me he peed every single time he was in the car, no problems relieving himself,” Lewis said.
Unfortunately, Schumacher is still unable to confirm or deny Hamilton's statement. Hopefully, more good news will come and one day, Schumacher will get the chance to talk again.
