Known to be that one vehicle that would transport Presidents of the United States, the 2017 Lincoln Continental was announced to be available for purchase in China for next year in the hopes of beating Lexus off the market along with Hyundai Genesis.
The 2017 Lincoln Continental vehicle has been expected to only be available for purchase at the United States as it has been the prevailing vehicle used by American presidents that gave it a distinctly American brand for American purchasers only. However, the company has decided to extend its sales to the Middle Kingdom.
The said vehicle was reviewed to have, first and foremost, impressive interiors. Installed with exquisite edges and beaming LED light bars that added a flare to the model when it swerves through the road, the seamless neon look was forecasted to shoot up sales when it enters China next year, according to Car and Driver.
The vehicle would also be featured with a front-wheel drive, which is lodged with a price value of $45,485 for the Premiere version. With the Black Label version, which is priced at $65,840, it would be larger and longer from the cheaper version. On top of which, the vehicle would also be powered by a 3.0L engine that boasts of 400hp and generates 400lb-ft of torque.
The interiors of the model were said to be prevalent against its competitors in the market. It has key interior control, has a push-button transmission, and was installed with traditional shifters on the floor or column. Additionally, its doors also open with just a push of the button, according to Motor Authority.
Its technological features include 19-speaker Revel Ultima stereo and has a peak relaxation chamber. Furthermore, it has also been installed with fuel economy features. The 2017 Lincoln Continental is on sale at present at a base price of $45,485 inclusive of shipping fees.
