Recent Formula 1 news revealed that Daniel Ricciardo manifested his concerns about his best rivals in Japan. Per the Red Bull driver, Sebastian Vettel, and Kimmi Raikkonen performed well during the Japan race that he expects a tight race to the finish come Formula 1 World Championship race in the U.S. this week.
Red Bull driver, Daniel Ricciardo, shared his insights about being worried that he may have to face a challenging race towards the finish come to Formula 1 World Championship in the U.S. later this week. As Formula 1 news revealed, the driver, during an interview, said that the Ferrari cars had been extremely fast recently that he may have a harder time beating them again, according to Motor Sport.
Furthermore, the driver also added that he had experienced being the faster driver unexpectedly during races but attested that even the speed of the vehicles was not necessarily expected to reign supreme.
During the Suzuka race, Ricciardo also shared his insights about the results of that event. He admitted that he was squatting real low and that he needed to lighten up his driving strategy to be able to win another race against the Ferraris of Verstappen and Raikkonen.
In other Formula 1 news, it was also revealed that Ricciardo thought the Ferrari vehicles had better package during the race as well. Although he gained 50 points ahead of his contenders, he may not lead as much in the second round as the Ferraris were only far behind the first time around due to penalties, according to AutoSport.
Daniel Ricciardo also revealed that his team would make some adjustments to be able to get ahead of their best rivals. Despite the admittance that the Ferrari contenders were doing fast, Formula 1 news revealed that the Red Bull driver is not too worried as he felt confident about his car's performance especially how it was able to outrun Sebastian Vettel and Kimmi Raikkonen during the first round of the Formula 1 World Championship in Japan.
