As Tim Keene joins the Michael Shank Racing, the new general manager is banking on winning the GTD class of the Weather Tech Sports Car Championship with the brand new 2017 Acura NSX. With the company's passion for racing, will they prevail?
Michael Shank Racing has announced that they have taken a new general manager to lead them to a win in the coming IMSA GT Daytona category for the GTD class of the Weather Tech Sports Car Championship by customizing the Acura NSX project.
Keene manifested his desire to join the Mike Shank tam because he wanted to lead the team to victory after his experience with Panoz Delta Wing last June 2014, according to Motor Sport. However, the new general manager did manifest that he expects further challenges while on the road to victory. With the help of Acura, Keene expects to win in the upcoming race this coming 2017.
In other news, the Lexus RC F GT3 is also pushing for the championship apart from Keene's team, according to Road and Track. In fact, the said model was to cameo with celebrities such as Justin Timberlake and Andy Samberg for the upcoming 2017 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship reveal of competitors.
The said cameo would show the new and improved 3GT which was run with factory affiliated program for the upcoming IMSA GT Daytona class by January. Also, the drivers of the vehicles, Scott Pruett and Sage Karam, would also announce their involvement with the Audi R8, BMW M6, the Ferrari 4888, the Porsche 911, and the Lamborghini Huracan models.
The teams for the upcoming IMSA 2017 race event have been raising the bar towards the race to the finish. With Keene joining the Michael Shank team, will the new and improved 2017 Nissan Acura NSX prevail or will the Lexus RC F GT3 beat it to the checkered flag?
