2017 Honda Civic Turbocharged 6-Speed MT To Debut In US Dealerships This Week

It has been announced that the 2017 Honda Civic line-up will be an exciting automobile to look forward to as it fuses a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine to a manual transmission. The MY 2017 Honda Civic Sedan Coupe models will be available for a preview tomorrow.

According to Jeff Conrad, the senior vice president and general manager of the Honda Division, the company has updated the 2017 Honda Civic sedan and coupes lineup with features relating to its improved transmission and engine features.

The EX-T Model Upgrades

As reported by Car Scoops, the EX-T guise franchise in the 2017 Honda Civic models will be presented with a sporty look, will be available for the manual transmission that boosts of a 1.5-liter turbocharged DOHC engine. Additionally, it has been lodged to reach 174 horsepower as well.

The models would be able to garner torque of up to 167 lb.-ft. and 5 lb.-ft. and generate 174 HP.

The 2017 MY Model Upgrades

With respect to the 2017 Honda Civic MY models, it will retain its available extra feature of turbocharged EX-T trims but will have a standard on EX-L and Touring trims as well. Furthermore, the 2017 Honda Civic EX sedans will also be installed with an HD Radio and XM Satellite Radio as part of its interior upgrades.

According to Road and Track, the 2017 Honda Civic franchise has been one of the top-selling compact sedans in the automobile industry in the U.S. In fact, the report indicated that thee updated models will be a more fun ride for the JDM car enthusiasts.

Prices

For the six-speed manual mid-level 2017 Honda Civic EX-T coupe and sedan, the price is lodged at $21,500. For the lesser versions, the price for the sedan is lodged at $18,740 while the Coupes will be sold for $19,150. All updated models of the franchise will be available for a preview tomorrow.
