Tesla Model X may redeem the franchise's mishaps when it was revealed its falcon-wing doors were not working properly. With updates to the said model, a brand new installment would be released this coming 2017. Will the sliding doors be more functional that time around?

Supplier of the Tesla Model X model, Hoerbiger was referred to by the company as an "unworkable engineering solution" when findings revealed the falcon wing doors of the make and model were not properly engineered, reported Auto Blog. In fact, Tesla was disappointed with their service that wasted more than a year of efforts and further denied allegations that the defective electronic controls and overheating issues of the vehicle were their doing.

According to Hybrid Cars, Tesla Motors and Hoerbiger had settled in court over a lawsuit filed by the company last January just this week. In fact, Tesla contracted with another supplier for an electromechanical door system to replace the defective parts made by the previous supplier despite the fact that the latter was paid a premium cost to rush the production of the Tesla Model X vehicle.

To remedy the said scrutiny over the Tesla Model X franchise, the company has announced that they will introduce a new installment to the market come 2017. In fact, an image of the Next EV model was leaked online and showed such will generate a whopping 1MW of power, about 1,360 hp and accelerate from 0-62 mph in just three seconds.

The brand new Next EV Tesla Model X unit is the company's electric supercar that has been made to become more affordable and functional compared to the defective models that the company worked on with Hoerbiger.

Will Tesla Model X redeem itself by the release of its Next EV installment to the franchise? Would the new supplier remedy the defects caused by Hoerbiger?
