Rolls-Royce Completes Delivery Of Its Largest Order Ever Of 30 Phantoms

Macau based luxury hotel, "The 13" has taken delivery of all 30 of the Rolls-Royce Phantom it had ordered two years back. This makes it the biggest order of the Phantoms ever made by a single entity, eclipsing the 14 Phantoms earlier bought by the Peninsula Hotel also in Hong Kong.

Stephen Hung, the joint chairman of "The 13" had taken delivery of the first Phantom earlier this year during the Geneva Motor Show. The entire order for the 30 custom made Phantoms stands at around $20 million, stated Motor1.

The Phantoms bought happened to be the extended wheelbase versions and would be used to chauffeur guest to the ultra-luxurious hotel, "The 13." All are done up in a predominantly red colored theme, with the shade having been made to the exact requirements as specified by Hung.

Complementing the external "Stephen Red" color job are matching red accents on the massive 21-inch wheels that the Phantoms ride on. The interiors will be as lavish as Phantoms has always been known for.

Two of the cars will still stand out from the rest, given that these have their exterior red finish further enhanced with fine gold particles that adds a touch of opulence to the exteriors like no other. That's not all,as the Rolls-Royce badge too is encrusted with exquisite diamonds. That apart, gold accent has also been applied to the Spirit of Ecstasy, front grille and the interiors, all of which make the two Phantoms the most expensive to have ever been built.

No wonder, the two special Phantoms will only be used to serve the most special of guests and will be more luxurious than the rest.

The ultra-luxurious hotel is scheduled to open in early 2017, almost a year later than what was initially planned. As a measure of just how much luxurious the hotel will be, a night's stay there is expected to cost as much as $130,000, The Wall Street Journal reported.
