Halle Berry Back to Work After On-Set Injury

Halle Berry is back to work after a fall on set three days ago caused her to be taken to the hospital.

The Daily Mail reports that the Oscar-winner, 45, was back on the Los Angeles set of The Hive after being rushed to Cedars Sinai Hospital on Wednesday.  She fell and hit her head while filming a fight scene, and her publicist said that her hospital visit was only a precaution and that she was quickly released.

Initial reports were more ominous.

TMZ reported shortly after the accident that Berry struck her head on concrete at about 10 PM. She began vomiting, and was taken from the set in an ambulance.

The actress is somewhat accident-prone while at work. She broke her foot last year while filming Cloud Atlas in Spain, broke her arm while filming Gothika in 2003, took debris from a smoke grenade in the eye while filming Die Another Day in 2002, and was hit on the head with lighting equipment while filming Catwoman in 2004.

The Hive is a thriller directed by Brad Anderson, who has also helmed The Machinist, Transsiberian, Next Stop Wonderland. Berry plays an emergency operator who attempts to save the life of a kidnapped girl played by Abigail Breslin.
