Who remembers Michael Schumacher's skiing accident in French Alps where he suffered a major injury?

In a recent report, it was alleged that the former F1 champion had experienced medical breakthrough: Michael Schumacher is capable of walking.

"I told the court on Friday that the alleged claim that Michael Schumacher can walk again is false and simply not true," Damm said.

"Michael cannot even stand with the help of his special therapists. I cannot make any other comments about Michael's health condition."

Such details were initially revealed in a German court where a lawsuit filed by Schumacher's family against the Die Bunte Magazine was being talked on.

Reportedly, the news outlet - Die Brunte - was accused of publishing incorrect details about the racer's medical condition in December, 2015. It reported that Schumacher, with the aid of assistants can take small steps, and is recovering at a fast rate.

According to New York Daily News, such reports were falsified. The German racer's longtime manager Sabine Kehm said that the reports were irresponsible and would only give rise to false hopes.

"Speculation is irresponsible, because, given the seriousness of his injuries, his privacy is very important," Kehm said to disprove the story.

"Unfortunately, (Die Bunte) also gave false hopes to many involved people."

According to The Telegraph, the Schumacher family sued the magazine, asking for €40,000-€100,000 after it invaded the privacy of the racer.

After the accident while skiing, Michael Schumacher had to go through two major brain surgeries and was being treated in France, where he was in coma.transferred to the Lausanne hospital.

Currently, he is receiving around the clock medical support at his home in Switzerland with a team of medical specialists to take care of him. The Express reports that his homestay expenses bill up to $150,000 a week.

Schumacher is known as one of the most famous racers of all time. He has bagged a world record of seven Formula One titles for Benetton and Ferrari between 1994 and 2004. He is a father of two and sought retirement in the year 2006, although he came back in the Mercedes team in 2010.
