Top 5 Cars We Can't Wait to See at the Paris Auto Show

As the Paris Motor Show draws nearer, the excitement grows bigger. Although there are big names that won't be attending the show, still there are lots of great premieres from those that will be attending. Although most of these cars are only concepts, some of them could be made available on the market.

Ferrari LaFerrari Spider/ Aperta

Ferrari's LaFerrari Spider is just basically a variant of its LaFerrari without the roof. The engine, however, is another story. It's equipped with a hybrid drivetrain that brings together a 6.3-liter V-12 and a HY-KERN, which provides short bursts of extra power, reports Top Speed.

Unfortunately, the limited stocks of this $3.4 million car is already sold out. But, we'll still get a glimpse of this beauty during the Paris Auto Show.

Lexus UX SUV

Another car we're pretty excited about is Lexus' UX SUV. Pictures have already been leaked of this cocept car and it really looked like it came from the future with its sleek mirrorless design. When Japan approved the production of mirrorless cars, the trend immediately spread out to other automakers. The wide-body UX SUV with massive wheels and cameras in lieu of mirrors is only a preview of what is to come in the auto industry a few years from now.

2017 Audi Q5

About seven years after the Audi Q5 first came to the market, it remains Audi's bestselling SUV. It also boasts the strongest resale value in the second-hand market. Now, the wait is finally over as the second-generation Q5 will be unveiled on September 29. Spec information are still unnknown, but according to Business Insider 2017 Q5's exterios is similar to the larger Q7. It's also likely that it will have the same engine with Audi's previous models, i2.0-liter, 252-horsepower, turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine.

Citroen CXperience

The Citroen Xperience is only a concept car, but it gives us an idea where Citroen is headed into in terms of design. The large hatchback is a plugin hybrid "with a petrol engine developing between 150 and 200 bhp and up to 80 kW of additional energy provided by the electric motor" according to Citroen's company site. Fuel consumption can also be limited by using the two forms of energy together. The CXperience is reportedly a car with a human-machine interface.

2017 Nissan Micra

The 2017 Micra will be longer, wider and lower than its current version. It will be a step up from the previous version in order to compete with its rivals, Fiesta, Fabia, Polo, Rio and Jazz. It will have a range of small 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo petrols and a 1.5-litre diesel, Eutoexpress reports. Expected price of an entry-level will be $13,000.
