Consumers Approve

After the much anticipated reinterpretation of the Acura NSX - months of waiting, teaser, prototyping, release date unfulfilled - the new Acura NSX or Honda NSX is ready to get some love again. And the latest review by the Consumer Report prove that the new Acura is a must have and purists who wanted to return to this model will be very much impressed.

Apparently, the Acura NSX is tremendously effective. It is a joy to drive it, it's fast, safe and you can take it to the limit with confidence that you will not be harmed. Consumer Reports finds the adjustable suspension setup to their liking and on some bumps in roads, the NSX irons it out perfectly giving a really good ride.

Consumer Report's Mike Monticello praised the way the NSX darts forward once you put your foot down, and was impressed by its grip and how secure you feel behind the wheel even when pushing it to its limits. The Sport Hybrid powertrain gives lots of electric power to the front wheels, making the handling so perfect.

Negative Reviews

While a lot of positives had been said, there are also negative reviews about the Acura NSX. Other reviews suggest that some sections of the vehicle are not finished off well, considering the price tag the ensemble should have higher quality. Some reviewers also point to the information and entertainment system as something unwieldy and annoying at some point. And of course, some reviewers are dismayed that the new price is over $150000 which is quite expensive compare to its previous model.

NSX Too Perfect?

While said to be the must-have supercar of today, some reviewers reveal that he sport is too perfect to be as attractive to drive as its predecessor. Quite an irony.

The same people even speak of better options in the market to disburse such a huge amount and said they would rather choose a McLaren 570S or a Porsche 911 Turbo - those are not perfect but would be more fun to drive.
