The new and improved 2017 Nissan GT-R Nismo may have better interiors, but such upgrades have upped the notch on the model price. With an additional $25,000 bucks more from its previous price, the make and model may now be purchased from Nissan dealerships with a price of $176,585.
The Specs
The brand new 2017 Nissan GT-R Nismo is now a ride with improved specs, especially with respect to its V-motion grille and a more refined interior designs, reported MSN. It also has an 8-inch touchscreen inside the vehicle which improves the passenger experience.
It also has an exclusive leather upholstery of Recaro seats, Nismo-designed Alcantara steering wheel, along with a red-accented carbon fiber ground effects and carbon fiber rear spoiler. It also has black outside mirrors and a special coating that enhanced the carbon-fiber feature's feel.
The Engine
In other news, Motor Trend reported that the 2017 Nissan GT-R Mismo is able to generate 600 hp and 481 lb-ft of torque from its tuned twin turbo 3.8-liter V-6 engine. It also has lightweight titanium exhaust system, four-wheel independent suspension, was incorporated with unique NISMO tuning, is lighter than its predecessor and has additional roll stiffness. On top of which, the additional adhesive bonding and spot welding improved its weight as well.
Model Price
With its new price, the vehicle is almost as pricey as its top competitor in the sports car automobile market, the Porsche 911 Turbo S model, which is lodged at $189,150 for its base price.
According to Auto Guide, the pricing for the 2017 Nissan GT-R Nismo was announced during its North American debut at the Japanese Classic Car Show held at Queen Mary, Long Beach, California. It was deemed to be $65,000 more than its standard 2017 Nissan GT-R Premium model but is packed with 35 horsepower and 14 lb-ft of torque for a total of 600 hp and 481 lb-ft.
