2016 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat By Geiger Cars; Love It Or Leave It?

GiegerCars, a tuning company in Germany, believes that the 2016 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat is still not enough. So they worked on the already powerful hellcat and increased its horsepower to a whooping 782hp, complete with added aesthetics that makes their Dodge Charger more incredible.

Check out the photos of the 2016 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat here, then read on to find out what aspects of it we love and what are those who would rather leave untouched.

Love It

The engine is the biggest improvement of the tuned version of the Charger SRT Hellcat. Geiger Cars successfully turned it into a more powerful 782hp output and 681 of torque. That represents an increase of 75hp and 31 torque from the original figures of the Hellcat. An impressive acceleration of zero to 62mph can be achieve in just 3.6 seconds and an eye-popping 205mph top speed is now possible. All of this is because of the remapped engine's control unit and a new stainless steel sports exhaust system with valve control.

Geiger Cars know that with great power comes with great balance in handling. Thus, it installed the KW coilover suspension that comes with damping adjustment and rebound and compression in both the low-sped range and the high-speed range. This allows the 2016 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat to move with ease, even in high-speed corners.

And of course, we can't forget the awesome new set of wheels that the Hellcat has. The 22-inch alloy wheel is made exclusively for this project and we just can't take our eyes of it.

Leave It

The tuned 2016 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat is "almost" perfect. In fact, it can probaby be in our list of awesome tuned cars. But the exterior Hellcat Green paint finish of it is just too much, we'd rather have the original paint.

Another thing that sets us off the Hellcat version is the pricing. All that tuning is expensive. The engine upgrade costs around $8,810, the wheels cost $6,580, the suspension is worth $5,465. Add the paint job and it's a whopping $22,000 in total. If one doesn't own a Hellcat, then Geiger Cars can deliver the complete package for $123,240. The availability of this Hellcat version, though, could be an issue for US customers and that is another drawback.
