‘Game Of Thrones' Season 8 Spoilers: Sophie Turner Unveils Not All Characters Will Make It, Who Gets To Stay?

It has been a given and proven fact that "Game of Thrones" season eight will definitely happen. However, judging from the show's previous seasons, not all of the main characters would be able to survive until the battle with the Night King. Thanks to Sophie Turner, spoilers revealed that more characters would have to die before the series reaches its finale.

Last weekend, the 2016 Emmy Awards graced the cast of the series whopping wins and made the show as the most awarded show in television history. Since the commenced season six, Sophie Turner spilled some beans during the event when the actress was asked as to what the audience can expect come "Game of Thrones" season eight.

According to Winter Is Coming, when asked about the upcoming season, Sophie Turner, who plays and continually plays Sansa Stark until "Game of Thrones" season eight, revealed that not all of the main cast members would be able to see the light of the series' season finale.

When asked, Turner said, "We've got one more season... well, not all of us." Her statement suggests that someone or a few will not make it through alive on to "Game of Thrones" season eight.

The Bets On Who Will Die

Although the series prides itself of killing even the most significant characters in the franchise, the source forecasted two characters who may not be able to make it on to "Game of Thrones" season eight: Cersei Lannister and Sansa Stark.

Why Cersei?

After the shocking episode finale of "Game of Thrones" season six, Cersei bombarded hundreds of Westeros folks which could possibly trigger a killing spree against her. Will she join forces with Littlefinger or will her destiny be just a matter of when she will be killed off?

Why Sansa?

Sansa had been seen in the series to be more active in times of war. With her substantial involvement with brother Jon Snow, she too may also fade come "Game of Thrones" season eight. On top of which, her statement also suggested that when she referred to "well not all of us," included the possibility that her character would be one of those who would not be able to make it out alive in "Game of Thrones" season seven.

Possible Spinoff Rest With George R.R. Martin

In other news, Movie Plot suggested that series creators, David Benioff and D. B. Weiss may have teased a spinoff for "Game of Thrones" since it was revealed that the series will end by 2018.

During an interview, Benioff was asked as to whether rumors of a spinoff series to "Game of Thrones" has bases. He then revealed that the answer would lie upon the novel from which the series was based. Given that, he suggested that the right person to inquire as to whether a spinoff will occur is lodged at author George R.R. Martin.

Martin, on the other hand, also hinted a possibility of a spinoff when he revealed that he is still bound to write a couple more books for "A Song of Ice and Fire" sequel. Since "Game of Thrones" will only have two more books to cover, there's another one that's to be published. The possibility of one book not featured into a series suggested that there could possibly be a spinoff.

"Game of Thrones" season seven will premiere on HBO this coming summer of 2017. Which among the main characters will live through on to "Game of Thrones" season eight?
