Another test mule of Faraday Future's upcoming electric vehicle has been caught undergoing test runs in the desert in Mojave.

Not surprisingly, the vehicle is seen donning heavy cladding, which also goes well with the ultra-secretive manner in which the company has operated so far. That said, a few design cues are hard to miss, which includes the crossover body style which would put it in the same as the Model X.

What is also evident is the relatively short hood at the front with the headlight at the edges has a swept-back layout. The windshield is quite large though, perhaps not quite as big as that of the Model X.

Also as Motor1 reported, the rear end has a more coupe like styling. What also can't be missed is the two camera flanked on either side of the rear-view mirror. The company has already secured the permission to tests its autonomous driving tech on public roads in California and has also been testing the same on specially modified Lincoln MKZ vehicles.

Faraday Future is hoping to make a huge impact with the first vehicle and has already built an impressive team drawn from Apple, Tesla, Ferrari and others that is building the first car. It is also toeing the same line as that of Tesla that has had a huge impact with its Model S and Model X cars. Those again have been topped off with the Autopilot system with the mere sight of the car driving on its own had caught on the fancy of millions of auto enthusiasts the world over.

However, while Tesla has already made the headway in the EV segment with its own network of superchargers, it remains to be seen how Faraday Future gets off the block.

Further, not much is known about its cars as well. As such, no one known what its battery size will be, what will its acceleration be like, or the likely range and so on.
