The all-new Dodge Challenger Hellcat ADR will soon be reigning on the road. However, a source spied the upcoming model one foggy morning in Michigan, only to find out that it could feature wide tires but not the expected wide body. Catch the details here.

The vehicle might hit the highway in the near future. But iPhone photos of the anticipated model were shared via Car and Driver.

According to the observation, the snapshots can confirm that the Dodge Challenger Hellcat ADR sports the small-diameter, wide-cross-section tire treatment, along with a purported wider track. This has been the website's guess and it appears that they are correct.

Furthermore, the outlet also believes that the prototype is inspired by the Challenger GT AWD which was exhibited at the 2015 SEMA aftermarket show in Las Vegas. The photos revealed that the model is in black color.

However, it also appears that there are missing features which are expected for the vehicle. Some of them are the supercharged Hemi V-8 and the fender flares.

This is contrary to the report made by Automotive News. A couple of days ago, the car outlet speculated that the Dodge Challenger Hellcat ADR will have a wide-body. 

But prior to the release of the said model, Dodge will release the very first V-6 all-wheel-drive Challenger, called the GT AWD this fall.

Since Car and Driver admits that the iPhone photos might not reveal its wide body because of its quality, we can only hope for a confirmation coming from Dodge. For that, the debate whether the Dodge Challenger Hellcat ADR will be finished once the model is launched.

The model reached the headlines for about a year ago. According to the Hellcat thread, the car would be made around calendar-year 2018. The forum also revealed that the American Drag Racer vehicle will sport a wide body.
