Awesome Improvements In Store

The Toyota 86 is the only Sports range of Toyota. So it is not much surprised that Toyota gave a lot of time to think of the new version and they did pretty well from the looks of it. The GT86 has a facelift and now presents a new front bumper, with wider air inlets and redesigned light clusters. It's tail lights now use LED technology and the rear bumper, now has a larger diffuser at the bottom.

Thanks to these changes, the new Toyota 86, provides more downforce at high speeds and thus is capable of achieving a speed of step by upper curve. Additionally, Toyota representatives said that the outstanding dynamic behavior of GT86 has been further enhanced in the new Toyota GT86 2016 thanks to the reconfiguration of the suspension.

It launches new damper settings, which are signed by Showa, while chassis rigidity has increased. All this translates into an easier and more agile handling, with more intense driving sensations. In the mechanical block 2.0 four - cylinder box reach 210 hp (10 hp more than its predecessor) and provides its maximum torque of 205 Nm.

“The biggest point I wanted to improve was the car’s responsiveness – on and off acceleration, turning in and turning out, and the speed and naturalness of its reactions. This has partly come from modifying the dampers and springs, but the biggest point of influence has been in aerodynamics and the way this affects the suspension.” Chief designer Tetsuya Tada said

For the first time in the Toyota 86 lineup, two different versions will be offered: The GT86 and GT86 Pro. The first version will include adaptive LED headlights, keyless entry, start assistant slope control, heated mirrors and aluminum pedals, while the second adds to this a rear spoiler, heated front seats, leather and Alcantara seats, and a special upholstery for door panels and the dashboard
