The recall for the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has not reached some of its owners. Another incident happened when a driver charged the phone then it exploded on the road, blowing up the vehicle's passenger seat.

The authorities stated that the explosion occurred on a highway in St. Port Lucie, Florida on Tuesday. The mobile phone was connected to the vehicle's charger, according to Mail Online.

The witness, a nurse named Sharon Cain, was able to take video of the car which was engulfed by flames. She shared the clip on her personal Facebook account.

"A car caught fire from a charg(ing) Note Galaxy 7 on Crosstown (in) Port St. Lucie. I was told (that) the gentleman was charging his phone when he heard a loud pop (and then) the phone blew up. I am a nurse so I stopped to make sure there was no help needed from me," Cain stated.

Meanwhile, the vehicle owner, 55-year old Clifford Samuels, told the police that the Galaxy Note 7 must have caused the fire. He said that he left his phone charging on the passenger seat around 8 p.m, reported WPBF News.

On the other hand, The St. Lucie County Fire District confirmed that the car was indeed razed by the explosion. However, they are still investigating for further details.

A previous report stated that airline companies are advising the passenger to not bring or charge their Galaxy Note 7 on flights. The South Korean company has been urging the owners to return the phones for a replacement.

"We are asking users to power down their Galaxy Note 7s and exchange them as soon as possible. We are expediting replacement devices so that they can be provided through the exchange program as conveniently as possible," Samsung mobile president Koh Dong-jin said in a statement.
