Showrunners of History's "Vikings" season four have revealed that the upcoming episodes this November will be unlike anything they have ever done before. Since the reappearance of Ragnar during the midseason premiere, the storyline is expected to shift.
The historical drama TV series "Vikings" will have a more intriguing reveal this coming November after Ragnar's reappearance in Kattegat following his disappearance due to his defeat in the battle of Paris. As reported by Variety, the event will trigger a chain of events.
Lagertha, played by Katheryn Winnick, will have a move at Kattegat and Bjorn, played by Alexander Ludwig, will finally explore the Mediterranean with the help of Floki, played by actor Gustaf Skarsgard.
After Ragnar, played by actor Travis Fimmel, disappeared for six years, the second half of "Vikings" season four will show a coincidence involving King Ecbert and Ragar, where the main characters will be forced to join forces. The said collaboration of the two was said to be a trademark scene in the series.
In fact, showrunner and writer Michael Hirst revealed that the following episodes of "Vikings" season four will be more emotional, unexpected, and extraordinary. Furthermore, it was also revealed that the storyline for the upcoming episodes will not be centered on Ragnar alone but will be a saga of his sons as well.
In other news, Deadline reported that "Vikings" season four would be aired on Wednesdays starting November. The series had gained 4.3 million viewers in Live +7 during the first half of the fourth season and is currently producing in Ireland.
With its true-to-life manifestation of events, the series is expected to garner more viewers now that the show has revealed that major events would commence come the second half of the latest season.
