The iOS 10 is here and it promised awesome new features for your iPhones. 

This includes Siri being more responsive and capable of doing more things like getting an Uber car, finally, and you can remove some of the stock apps and the more personal and upgraded messages.

"The Cupertino-based company has made your texts more personal, allowing users to include a number of animations and font sizes to convey emotions like happiness, shyness or sadness. iPhone owners can also send secretive messages that the recipient is only able to reveal when they swipe across the text bubble or image preview." According to Express.

These are just some of what's available in the iOS 10 which excites iPhone users. But then, the update didn't come smoothly for some users as it turned some phones into bricks.

The early birds who updated their phones during the release day last Tuesday complained that the update bricked their phones. Practically, your phone will turn into a useless slab and turn your handsets into an emergency Recovery Mode until you reinstall the operating system and your personal data.

A lot of users posted their complaints on Twitter. Apple, on the other hand, said that this issue is quickly resolved. It is recommended that before you update your phone, better backup your iPhone first.

The users who are affected are those ho commonly downloaded the iOS 10 on the over-the-air update. Those who plugged-in their devices on their computers didn't experience the problem.

What to do if your iPhone gets bricked?

Apple said to follow this steps:

1. Connect your device to your computer with the cable that came with your device.

2. Click 'Update' not Restore to reinstall iOS and keep your data.

You can also connect it your computer and launch iTunes. 

Find your iOS device on the left-hand side of the iTunes window, click it to load an overview of the smartphone, then tap the Update button.
