Spike TV's "Lip Sync Battle" had its first live show for the season on Sunday evening, and it brought back several all-stars and an Olympic champion to compete for the coveted championship belt.

Olympic champion swimmer Michael Phelps competed against John Legend, Terry Crews and Olivia Munn on the hit lip sync competition show. Phelps brought his A-game, recreating Eminem's classic hit "Lose Yourself" complete with a hoodie and a backdrop of a bathroom filled with graffiti, according to Entertainment Tonight Online.

However, the most decorated Olympian of all time was in for a shock when he saw that his fellow teammates from Team USA - Aly Raisman, 22, and Simone Biles, 19 - appeared on stage with fellow competitor Olivia Munn wearing tutus.

The actress enlisted the help of Raisman and Biles for her lip sync performance of "Cheap Thrills" by Sia, and the two gymnasts performed some of their Olympic gold medal-winning stunts and joined Munn for a group hug after the performance.

"When I found out that Michael Phelps was joining our set, I said the only way to beat a gold medal champion is to bring two gold medal champions," Munn explained host LL Cool J about the surprise cameos, according to the Daily Mail. Phelps, however, was simply delighted at seeing the two women on stage, saying that their appearance was "awesome." "I loved being on the team with these girls and seeing them perform is so special," he said.

Meanwhile, Crews and Legend were not far behind, as they also pulled out all the stops to give an epic lip sync performance, with the former channeling the character President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho from the film "Idiocracy" for a performance of Public Enemy's "Fight the Power," complete with appearances from the lookalikes of Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.

Legend, on the other hand, delivered a complete in-character performance of "Hey Ya" by Outcast, and it came with a special appearance from singing legend Stevie Wonder. Legend's wife, Chrissy Teigan, co-hosts the show alongside LL Cool J.

In the end, however, it was Phelp's and his signature "Phelps Face" that helped him win the championship belt and bask in all the glory, according to TIME.
