Fiat 500L Boasts Espresso Maker

Fiat has debuted its new 500L this week in Turin.

The crossover, which is built at a plant in Serbia, becomes available in Italy this month, and in 100 other countries - including the United States - in 2013.

The Italian carmaker extolls very expansively the cars various technological virtues: the glass (electric optional) roof, the Beats Audio sound system, the Turbo TwinAir engine.

The feature that really impresses, though, is the built-in espresso maker. Says Fiat, "The 500L is the first standard-production car in the world to offer a true espresso coffee machine that utilizes the technology of the 'A Modo Mio' pods. It is perfectly integrated in the car with a deck designed expressly by Fiat."
