UFC Fighter Meisha Tate Carries Girl With Broken Arm After Hiking Accident

Andrew Abalos and his family were spending their labor day hiking at the Mary Jane Falls in Mt. Charleston, Nevada when an accident occurred. Their 6-year-old daughter, Kai, fell down and broke her arm atop a trail.

The family would've needed to hike down the steep 2.6-mile mountain path to reach the bottom when out of nowhere, Meisha Tate arrived. Tate, a former UFC Bantamweight champion, saw Kai's mother struggling in carrying her daughter when the 30-year-old mix martial artists offered a helping a hand..

When Kai was finally sent to the hospital, Abalos took to his Instagram account to share what happened.

"Such a crazy labor day weekend for our family but ended in such an amazing and beautiful way," Abalos wrote. "She (Tate) offered to help us carry her down the mountain. Such an amazing and humble person to have met. Our family can't thank you enough for all the help. You saved us easily hours of hiking and helped us get her to the hospital sooner. Thank you again."
