A racing driver from Britain challenges the very first electric supercar, as he drives a special edition Ferrari that is fit to put an end to the doubts surrounding whether an electric car can really outpace a Ferrari turbo engine.

Archie Hamilton is  the driver of the LaFerrari, while  another test driver is on the driver's seat of the electric supercar, the Rimac  Concept One. Archie, a 25-year-old professional racing driver says that he have heard news about the Rimac, but had doubts about its capability until the very moment that the two tested it out.

He was seen to totally be stunned and surprised as the electric car Rimac Concept One whooshed right past him in a seemingly effortless run. Archie Hamilton says in a shocking outburst, "Oh my God, I didn't get a great launch but oh my God, that thing is rapid. What the f***."

The Tesla P90D can be somehow compared to that of the Croatian supercar, the Rimac Concept One.

Archie is surprised to see how the electric car industry has improved its technology, as the electric car, an obvious underdog has put down the throne of the Ferrari. Note that Ferraris have a reputation for being really fast and powerful.

Archie added in a statement: "This is the first electric supercar and it was taking on one of the fastest cars in the world. I didn't have a clue which car was going to win. I was genuinely shocked. I couldn't believe it. You would always think a petrol car was going to beat an electric car."

The incident shows how unpredictable things can be now; knowing that several various research and developments are now underway in hopes of reducing the world's dependence on fuel-based engine vehicles. This is also a positive sign that electric vehicles can be reliable.
