The all new 2017 Volkswagen Beetle Dune convertible will certainly take the auto industry by storm as it cashes out its bold array of competitive features with a dazzling and cost justifiable pricing.

The dune has an increase in its ground clearance as it is raised by 0.2 inches off the ground. It also has new fenders and a body that is measured by 0.6 inches.

18 inch wheels also make this a sporty ride off to set the roads on fire. It boasts 170 hp with a 1.8 liter turbocharged engine that has four cylinders.

The six-speed automatic transmission also makes it a worthy pick for those that prefer to have an effortless driving experience, but with the power like that of a stick shift vehicle. However, when the car was still featured  on the 2014 Detroit auto show, it has a more powerful 2.0-liter engine that has 210 horsepower; a far cry from the actual 2017 real model.

The concept car also did not have an all-wheel drive, making the 2017 Volkswagen Beetle Dune an improvement. The increased ground clearance that the convertible has is a big benefit as it adds up to its performance.

It adds 18 pounds more when compared to the 1.8T convertible model. It took the Volkswagen Dune convertible 0.3 seconds more from zero to reach 60mph, an insignificant difference when compared to the other.

The 2017 Volkswagen Beetle Dune convertible is available in three color hues, as it comes in white, black, and Sandstorm Yellow. The interior also matches with the glamor of its exterior as it is laden with black vinyl seats that have gray fabric centers and orange stitching.

Apple CarPlay is also featured alongside the Android Auto on its dashboard. This is made possible by the Car-Net system that Volkswagen has tailor made for this new model.
