But what are the interesting bits that we know so far? According to the website, the tech titan has been designing a "never before seen battery."
Sourcing South Korean outlet ET News, the company executives are allegedly in talks with a South Korean battery company. Rumor has it that the latter only consists of 20-25 employees, which the news claim that they are "expert technologists of batteries."
As for the impressive design, they could be assembling a battery wherein the center is hollow. The Korean company declined to impart the details.
A highest- ranking official told the outlet that "Because we made an NDA with Apple, we cannot discuss any information regarding this project." However, the website hinted that the company will not go for the usual circular or rectangular batteries.
