Nissan Unveils World’s Loudest Car Stereo (Video)

Nissan Motors' topped its reputation of powerful stereo systems with the unveiling of the 2012 Juke Box.

The 2012 Juke Box has 150db surround audio system and making it one of the loudest car stereos in the world. The formal unveiling ceremony of the latest version of the model has been organized in this weekend's Le Mans race circuit. Later, the model will take a tour across Europe.

The model features the 18,900 watt surround stereo system which is completely self-powered and will allow owners to create outdoor pop-up parties anywhere the owner desires. The 2012 Juke Box model comes with the fully PA system as well as a DJ console. The model also has its own ambient lighting system placed in interiors.

"We have made a great product that we believe creates excitement through our innovative approach to the small car market," said Gareth Dunsmore, Marketing Communications Nissan in Europe. "Ministry of Sound is the industry leader in creating the moments people live for through their bespoke sound systems. Together with Nissan Design Europe, RML and Ministry of Sound we wanted to challenge the establishment and make something truly unique."

And if that's not enough, the 2012 Juke Box has been inbuilt with radio studio where any songs are played on the Juke Box system will be captured and broadcast on the digital radio application of Ministry of Sound. The 2012 Juke Box will make its public debut during the drivers' parade at the beginning of the Le Man 24-hour race scheduled this weekend.
