Universal Studios Unveil "Transformers: 3-D" Ride

Universal Studios recently unveiled a new ride based on the popular cartoon and later silver screen series of "Transformers."

Transformers: The Ride 3-D, uses an array of top-notch graphics to give audiences the ultimate feeling of actually being in the movie. The opening-day event held at Universal Studios in Hollywood was attended by acclaimed director Steven Spielberg.

"It was amazing", said the director after watching the advanced techniques that brought "Transformers" to life. The entire project was designed by "Transformers" director, Michael Bay.

The studio theatre is first of its kind and the audience can feel heat, wind and water making it look more realistic. The latest Hollywood attraction is based on the Hasbro toys which have cars and trucks transforming into giant robots.

The studio features a mobile car with flight simulation technology which taken the audience for a ride in the city which include streets and top of buildings. " I've been on this attraction hundreds of times so far, and I'll be on it thousands of times more. This is the most amazing ride experience of a lifetime. It's like literally going into the battle on a ride and dodging every which way you are part of the action. There's no greater sensory overload in a theme park anywhere in this planet," Larry Kurzweil, president of Universal Studios, Hollywood said.
