World's fastest man, Usain Bolt, is teaming up with Nissan Motors in a global campaign to promote the 2012 Nissan GT-R.
The Jamaican sprinter and triple Olympic gold medalist is set to appear in global ad campaigns for Nissan's latest GT-R model. Bolt may be able to run the 100 meters in 9.58 seconds, the GT-R can go 0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds.
Nissan has titled the global ad campaign "What If" and will feature Nissan products and technologies which present Nissan's innovations in the world of cars. The automaker will also feature various billboards at some of the selected international airports featuring Bolt and Nissan GT-R.
"I was looking on the internet and I came across the Nissan GT-R and they were staying it was the best streetcar ever made," Bolt told reporters. "Nissan GT-R is a wonderful car and perfect for me. I love everything in it. I enjoy driving it and I feel completely safe and this is the key thing for me."
Nissan believes the ad campaign will be a success with international audiences, especially with the 2012 Summer Olympic Games kicking off in July.
