Honda Unveils New Accord Hybrid Set To Dominate The Road And The Car Trade

Honda is releasing its new Accord Hybrid soon with a goal of dominating the road and the car trade. The Japanese carmaker has set the timeline to release its new cars that are environmentally friendly and would integrate state of the art technologies and innovations.

In addition, Honda Chief Executive Takahiro Hachigo stated that by the end of February of the year 2030, green cars would dominate two-thirds of its sales, Reuters cited. Also, Honda released a statement that by the year 2017, the Accord Hybrid would hit car stalls of the United States.

Honda gained revenues to its 14,000 previous models that were released in the U.S. market in 2014. More reports from USA Today revealed that Honda has made the official announcement that affirms the release of the new Accord Hybrid  in the city of Detroit, a region not known to favor the concept of environmentally-friendly cars.

"In this era of sub $2-per-gallon gas, we know this is a challenging target," John Mendel said, executive vice president for Honda of America. "With that kind of fuel economy and other advances, Honda expects the Accord will become a new volume sales pillar."

The rising competition in the car industry is pushing carmakers to innovate and soar above the level of mediocrity. In line with that, the Accord Hybrid would have the features being electric, and would incorporate plug-in electric or fuel cell vehicles that will surely outrun the other car brands in the near future.

"We've got a great product," Mendel added. "And our fuel economy story is likely to get better as our competitors restate their fuel-efficiency ratings."

As Honda New Accord Hybrid enters the market, it remains uncertain on whether Honda will bring an era of change for the company and for the car industry.
