Toyota Launches Limited Edition Corolla Altis in India

In an official announcement, Toyota, in joint cooperation with Kirloskar Motors has launched a limited edition of luxury sedan Corolla Altis in India for Rs 11.48 lakh ($20,684. 69). 

"We are delighted to announce the launch of the all new Corolla Altis Aero, on the occasion of the completion of 10 successful years in India," Deputy Managing Director for Toyota Kirloskar Motor, Sandeep Singh said in a statement. 

Toyota Kirloskar Motor launched the limited edition in petrol variant and it will hold series of meetings in the days to come about the possibility of launching the vehicle in diesel version. The automaker said it will take into consideration the market response to the Corolla Altis and then decide on launching a diesel version.

"500 exclusive units of the Corolla Altis Aero will be on sale till September 2012," Singh said.

Toyota briefs on the latest features available in the limited edition of Corolla Altis petrol variant. The model comes with existing J Grade 1.8 liter petrol engine which is given an official approval from Bharat IV emission norms.
