Toyota launches limited edition Corolla

To mark the 10th anniversary of its luxury sedan Corolla Altis Aero in India, automobile maker Toyota Kirloskar Motor on Tuesday introduced a limited edition of the sedan, priced at Rs.11,47,748, according to an article in Business Today.  

"This is a limited edition that will provide exclusivity and newness to our customers. Five hundred exclusive units of the Corolla Altis Aero will be on sale till September," said Sandeep Singh, deputy managing director, marketing, Toyota Kirloskar Motor.

"Corolla Altis has become a very popular brand and has catered to happy and satisfied customers through the years," he said.

The luxury sedan is powered by an existing J grade 1.8 litre petrol engine which is also available in Euro IV emission norms. According to the company, it will decide on the introduction of a diesel powered limited edition Corolla. The decision will be based on the current demand for the limited edition petrol vehicle.

The limited edition vehicle boasts of aerodynamic front bumper spoiler coupled with bright smoked halogen headlights and smoked rear combination lights.

The interiors too have unique characteristics like dual tone seats with aero logo.
