Chrysler to Launch the 300C in China in June

Chrysler is starting the summer with a bang.  They are planning to launch the 300C in June.  Consumers in are China anxiously awaiting the arrival of the car will soon have their chance to own the new version.

The new generation of Chrysler's 300C improves on its predecessor, which according to Jeremy Clarkson of Autoevolution.com was styled by Al Capone, in every single way. Don't worry, the model is not for gangsters, but for any consumer seeking the former 300's class and style.

The new 300C, which is also on sale in Europe as the Lancia Thema, will go on sale in China on June 25. When the first generation car was launched in China a few years ago, it cost around 300,000yuan ($47,000 / €37,000) and it undercut its main, German rivals considerably. However, its lower price did not help it to sell very well, so Chrysler has very high hopes for this new.  The vehicle is more upmarket and a more grown-up 300C on the Chinese market.

The car is set to cost around 500,000 yuan ($78,000 / €63,000), considerably more than before, and it may just steal buyers away from the Germans, with its new (and improved but still Al Capone-esque) styling, Pentastar 3.6 -liver V6 and oddball factor.
