Tesla Model, Nissan Leaf, Chevy Volt and other electric cars are heading full packed into the grid. Also, in line with that, speculations of the Tesla Model, Nissan Leaf, Chevy Volt,  and electric car sales poised for the big bumps rises.

Technology has given way to more and more upgrades and innovations. It has even influenced how Tesla Models and electric cars are surging into the sales and market world of cars and trades. Clean Technica has indicated that Tesla models were able to take in 30 percent of the US electric car market for the past month. It also generated more earnings and tripled Model 3 reservations in comparison to the overall figures for the US electric car market.

It also revealed the statistics that even Chevy Volt, the 2nd-generation Nissan LEAF, and other electric cars are following suit as well. Report from CBC revealed that the number of electric car users is escalating and many are wondering whether the grid can handle its power demands.

To prove the latter, Alec Tsang one of the senior technology analyst at BC Hydro explained how the rising demand for the power grid is causing tensions to the region. However, Tsand said, "We started looking at this quite early on, as far back as 2007."

"Even the most optimistic projections of electric vehicle adoption still represent a really gradual load growth on utilities' grids. So in terms of generation and transmission, that large perspective, most utilities wouldn't have any problem meeting that demand," Tsang added.

It is an undeniable fact that the Tesla Model, Nissan Leaf, and the Chevy Volt are bracing in for skyrocketing sales and revenues but the threat of an outnumbered and demand for the power grid is looming on the horizon and it is just a matter of time before tensions and crisis will occur.

Moreover, it was just recently that the new Nissan Leaf might dominate the road and it will incorporate a new modular platform currently that is under development which is able to adopt the conventional and alternative power trains which would be the key to Nissan's plan to broaden its EV line-up, as cited by Auto World News.

Nevertheless, even though others have also speculated of the looming possibility, others have rebutted that it would not impede the growth and sales of the Tesla Model, Nissan Leaf, and the Chevy Volt electric cars or the affect the power grid.
