Toyota fans looking forward to the Geneva Motor Show have been treated with several leaked photos of the much-anticipated 2017 C-HR production model.

The leak  follows less than two years after the debut of Toyota's C-HR concept and five months after the Japanese automaker showed off an updated version, according to Carscoops.

While the crossover in the photos appears similar to the previous versions, several updates have been made, such as the sharper angles on the headlights and an extra intake on the front end below the Toyota logo but above the lower fascia, Autoblog noted. The company has also confirmed that the car will have a full hybrid petrol-electric powertrain, though the technical details have yet to be released.

The floating roof remains, and the vehicle has an overall shape similar to that of the Nissan Juke.

The C-HR will be launched under Toyota's new global architecture (TNGA) platform, which also exists under the company's 2015 Prius model, Carscoops reported. While the crossover was originally supposed to debut as a Scion in North America, it will be marked as a Toyota since the company has decided to kill the brand off.

Fans will only have to wait for another week until the Geneva Motor Show begins and they will get to see the C-HR in all of its glory.
