Mike Hogan, just like any other car consumer aspiring to buy an available used car in the auto world, expects to get his favorite car for just $1,500. And when he went to a local used car showroom to buy one, he was told was that all he could get was a car 13 years old and has been driven more than 129,000 miles. When he was offered the desired model the cost was a whopping $2,750.
Going with the opinion of the dealer in suburban showroom, the majority of the car consumers always looks for a cheaper price. They don't even bother with fancy gadgets or features.
One salesman at Subaru Forester dealership said he has more demands from consumers for used cars than any other models available in the market. Even if the Subaru Forester has more than 100,000 miles on it.
Auto experts believe that the used cars market has suffered a significant depression in the last three years resulting in the increase of prices and more demand for used cars.
